Had my suspicions confirmed by Bert this morning that my 2.5TD is on it's last legs.
I am searching now for a good condition 200 Tdi.
If anyone has any leads on one I would appreciate hearing from you!

I priced a unit last year with Turner engineering for a long block. They seemed to be reasonable for a complete rebuilt unit. My existing 200 TDI on Tigger will be going in this fall for a rebuilt.
They are hard to find around here. Good luck.

You can't get a long block, AFAIK, as good heads are difficult to find.  Glen will need a LOT more than just an engine though. All getting harder and harder to source every years as many parts are NLA.

What was the verdict Glen?   Any chance for a rebuild????    I can put you on to a source for used 200tdi's in the UK but you never know what state the engine is in and it's almost worth pricing in a rebuild once you get one here.     Let me know and I'll pm the info to you ;-)
