Worked on the dash today! I'm covering parts with a leather wrap and keeping other stock finishes. Ones I'm thinking that looks like a factory Land Rover thing is they cut a hole in the heater box for a speaker but since this is an ac version didn't use the hole! So a big fat hole vents all the incoming heat!

So found use for a flubbed panel and covered it! I might actually get some defrost on the windows now!

Then adjusted the opening so there is a larger opening for heat getting into thenac vent system. This sallmhole is where all the heat has to travel through for the floor venting.  Looks like heat is either on the windshield or coming from the ac vents with this design
next started painting up the trim pieces

And finally started the leather wrapping process!

Believe it or not this is progress!
