He doesn't post on here much but I'll let him know you are looking for him. He lives in Medicine Hat. A little birdie tells me he may be up in Edmonchuck for the SGMT if he can get his 101 back together in time? If so you will be able to see it in action!

The 101 has really deep gearing to make up for the lack of horse power. Bear in mind they were designed to pull a field artillery gun + 1 ton (hence the name 'One Ton' Land Rover) of ammunition. Yoda repowered his unit with an ex-Discovery 3.9L high compression Rover V8 complete with a fully functioning 14CUX EFI. He can do actual highway speeds now and the difference is dramatic.

However if he go's any serious distances he tends to trailer it to save wear and tear on the drivetrain as, once again, it is unique to the 101 and it is difficult to source replacement parts if fails in the middle of nowhere.

yea late to the parade

the gearing in the axles is 557/1 your book top speed is 130 redlined

with standard gearing look at traveling around 90 to 100 kph at 3500/3700 rpm
as people were saying before for a fuel tank.
101 club or 101 parts uk.

the other parts that you will need is a fuel pick up, fuel pump, fuel sender, fuel filler hose
your in luck the fuel pump is range rover....
I hope the tank support brackets and rubber bushings are still in the truck
