Electric motor for heater core - North American replacements?

Has anyone found a North American Replacement for the electric motor in the Smiths heater? IE the
"Shell" Type heater blower motor int h series.

From what I can find, this one https://www.thewrenchmonkey.ca/products/auto-parts/four-seasons/35407/ (also available through local sources/other brands) will fit, but requires slightly different mount holes in the snail housing.

Direct fit ones are available through the usual Land Rover parts sources, but are more expensive and provide the same weak airflow as originally supplied.
