I have no connection to the seller, but I note an Austin Champ for sale here in GP. Not much of a local club that I know of for them. There is one club member with a small Champ collection and a wreck, but I don't expect he wants to take on any more units.

wow!  There's a rarity.....  The only ones I know of around here are in Malcalm's yard!   And the other is in Kelowna, in the lot beside the Old Station Pub.

Years ago there was a body shop near the Chinook Mall in Calgary that had a Champ sitting in the yard for ages.

Parts are very hard to find but they are worth some serious $$$$ in the UK to the Military collector crowd.

Well there you go Matt, a money making opportunity awaits.   ;)
Ship the Champ back to the UK and take Land Rover parts as payment.  Sell the parts in Canada and you'd be making money in both directions.  ;D

Looks like an Austin Gipsy.

Yes, that's right the Gypsy was more if a failed series competitor at the time. There do seem to be a few of them lying about, and are probably less desirable than the champ

I didn't look at the ad, but if it is a Gipsy they are not worth as much as the Champ. Mostly because of the rare ex-Military connection of the Champ. The British Army only used them for a few years but dropped them because Land Rovers were cheaper and less complex.

Funny, cheaper and less complex is not what you would associate Land Rover with these days.
