Decided to sell my 2002 Discovery, just don't have the desire to do the work to it. In really good condition, I drive it every day. Has oil leak, best I can tell it's coming from the valve covers and running down back side of the engine. I have all the necessary gaskets ordered and will be here in next day or so. Engine has a tick in it, not sure where it's coming from, doesn't always do it. Looking for  $2000 firm

Starter went in it this morning. First $1300 gets it, come tow it away

Sorry to hear you have given up on the old Rover but you would be more likely to get your price if you can get it running.

While there is a lot of value in the asking price sadly there is much of a market for late 90's/early 2000's "tow away" Land Rovers above $500. If there was I would be laughing all the way to the bank. I've got six or seven of them.

Conversely 'good' D2's seem to be holding steady at around $4-$6K.

No Road Except For Land-Rover.
