Springtime has come, and I hope everyone has noted some of the discounts out there for this week. As noted, the Optima batteries are on sale at Canadian Tire, a minor discount, at $25 off. I wouldn't expect they'd ever go cheap, unlike the Motomaster line.

Canadian Tire has the pails of Shell Rotella diesel 15W40 oil on again for $67; worthwhile having these on hand.

Princess Auto has lots there, I picked up a cheap set of ratcheting metric closed end wrenches; should make faster work of landrover assembly. They have folding shop cranes going cheap, and a new powdercoating system that looks really interesting. Affordable, costing less than most of my powdercoat bills. Downside, it probably can't do a very big piece, and might be more suitable for someone doing a cosmetic restoration, as far as time, space, and cleanup are concerned.
