Folks,

Thanks to ALRE for this vehicle.  We had a lot of good years and miles since the club built it in Dave's garage.  While the engine and other systems are good to go still, repair time and costs (tranny issues) have added up and I will sell it down on Vancouver Island.  I have not listed it yet here.  Any of you in the club will have first crack at it.  Give me a ring if interested.  250 465 8192.

The basics: 1993 american chassis.  Ardennes green.  coils / 2 inch lift. 1995 serpentine belt 4.2 litre engine ('freshened' up in 2017).  no cats.  no air conditioning running (i have a box of disco 1 parts not installed).

no carpet.  NOS seats from a defender (cloth, mechanical).  rust issues in places, especially rear tub, hatch and tailgate.  Frame is good.  brakes work fine but rusty brake lines will be an issue.  Good window glass. 5 year old Wrangler Duratac 235/85 R 16.  Radio works.  no sunroof (aluminum panel rivetted in)

ZF4hp22 transmission.  won't shift up until really warmed up.  then drives fine.  I may have brought this on by doing ATF replacement on an older transmission.

I no longer have a place with garage / workspace, parts storage etc, and i don't have the pockets to bring this back up to fettle.
