RRC - hood latch release return spring

Hello all,

I'm putting the hood release assembly back in the RRC (after a "few" years being apart) and I've run into a small problem.   The return spring, used to pull the hood release cable back again.......For the life of me I cannot figure out where to anchor that spring on the front grill frame.  I've looked at the parts manual and it shows all the parts involved except the location where the spring anchors to the body.   

Can anyone out there please clue me in????? :-\

Well I drove out to Malcolm's place and had look at a couple of RRC's he had in the yard and as it turns out my first guess was correct.   Land Rover just hooked the one end of the spring through a hole in the grill frame/landing panel.   The free end of the spring just sticks out waiting to catch someones skin I guess.   Problem solved. ;)
