A bit of a rant and then some useful info....   ;)

On the 90, I have a set of Koni 8240 shocks.  I've had them for 8 years.  Maybe 30000 km, but I suppose there may be some hard ones in there...  Anyway, I noticed in the last while that the shocks where loose in the mountings.  The bushings seem to have lost some of their spring.  Is it just me or can nobody make quality rubber anymore?

I had planned to replace them before the trip in August and contacted the local distributor I bought the shocks from to order in a set of bushings.  He contacted Koni right away and could not get a response.  Eventually (a month or two?) and multiple calls to Koni he was told by Koni NA that they don't have any and don't know when they might ever have them.

I was bored and tried out the Googler and found that Koni UK's distributor is getting poly bushes made and selling nice kits. https://www.koniuk.co.uk/news/updated-range-of-hi-performance-bushes  I popped them a note and within an hour had a detailed reply with part numbers and explanation of the options to make sure I would get the right ones that would fit both my shocks and my vehicle. He also said stock rubber ones are available and in stock.

He pointed me to a suggested retailer and hopefully I should get some bushings that will last. I'll update when they come and how they work out.

What, no help from the NA Koni reps.......having to go to the UK reps to get some action......oh does this sound familiar.   LOL
