I  was  up in the lake district (grassmere and Keswick areas) green laning.   Was just above freezing and very very wet...but not raining.   We had a GREAT day out on the lanes and couldn't believe how many people were out there...and not even a long weekend.   We saw at lease 4 or 5 other groups on the lanes as well.   At one point we had three different groups pass through us going the incorrect direction of the lane.  Apparently it's posted suggesting that people travel in a single direction in order to minimize the lateral damage to the tracks.    But I guess no one bothers to look at the signage, and it's not posted on the maps themselves.

I was driving a td5 powered Ibex...SWEET.... and it was a very nice vehicle, even if it was mostly land rover.   The doors close with one finger and little pressure......'it's just wrong!!!!'   But to me that is the perfect stop gap for the lack of real defender production.

cheers from Jolly old....
