door vents

I've been looking for some series tropical roof vents to use as door vents in the 90 for some time.

Horse box vents look like they might be a good alternative or maybe scupper vents. Has anyone tried these for door vents?

Wonder of wonders, I just found two series tropical roof vents in my parts stash while cleaning up today. They are stuck in the closed position but not rusty so I'm sure I can get them working again.
