Oregon Trail -US - 2016

I came across this trail in the states by a tip from a fellow at Cabelas. I started researching it and it's starting to appeal to me. Below is a link from the parks services.

With over 3500 miles to see, it can be quite a fun summer to spend traveling and camping. The half way point intersects with Montana, so it can be a fun return trip from the Moab next year.

Has anybody been on this trail?
