Probably no cheap way to do it.  You need to change everything electrical to a 12 V version.  Starter, alternator, coil, distributor, gauges, lights.....

true no lights on it yet

I know this is a little late but I will throw in my two bits.
1;  You would need to change the charging system, I would suggest using a Delco self exciting alternator. Not to expensive and easy to wire.
2; Change the ignition coil using one from a Chrysler with an external ballast resister. Make sure you use a ballast.
3;  Leave the starter. Unless you crank the heck out of it, 12v into a 6v starter is not going fry it. It will shorten the       life, but not by much. Plus it will crank faster and start better.
4; The distributer is fine, no need to change anything as long as it is not electronic. ( and I doubt that it is)
5;  Dash gauges would only need a resister to drop the supply voltage to 6v. The ammeter can stay.
