Alexander Mackenzie trail, august of 2027.
Alright, one more try at this haha.
ample time this time around!

So, If you have not been before, this BC based trail is almost a right of passage for overlanders alike, we will plan for approx. 10-12 days home to home. there are tons of youtube videos on this trail to watch, keep in mind, many of the newer, larger channels tend to make trails appear harder and more dramatic then they are (drama is money lol) this trail is nothing any basic overland built Land Rover can't accomplish. we will finalize details by late 2026 to early 2027. To make things easy on everyone, I will do most of the planning and coordination. Closer to date, once we have numbers, I will put out a calling for various positions. first aid officer, cooking equipment, mapping/weather officer, tool specialist ETC. This will help with packing, so not everyone is bringing first aid kits, big heavy jacks and cumbersome cooking equipment like a blackstone. we can spread these items out among us. we only need 2 or 3 jacks, 1 extensive first aid kit. 1 blackstone we can share when cooking, 2 10x10 canopys for rain ETC. it'll be easier for everyone to pack for 7-8 days in the bush when all of us don't have to pack the same stuff that could be shared.

this is not an exclusive Land Rover event, your friend, cousin, brother, sister ETC can bring their Toyota or Nissan or whatever they got or simply ride shotgun for the adventure.

This trail does generally require significant labor with multi days setting up camp and downed tree removal, if you're not able to do this, have no worry there will be plenty of us who can and will gladly be the grunts while you enjoy a tea and drive your Land Rover through the jungle (maybe take some photos to make a video later haha) This may be a great opportunity to bring your kids or grand kids on an epic adventure they'll never forget with core memories to last a life time.

WHAT DO I NEED FROM YOU?

I need a list of people who are interested, you don't have to 100% commit at this point, just a simple interested or not type thing is great, life happens and things change, I get it. I currently don't even have a Land Rover so I don't even know what I'm bringing, but I am going haha.
feel free to either post a comment, email me (c_hkraemer@yahoo.ca) text (780-216-0447) or a DM that you are interested, leave your email and vehicle spec and I will add you to the list.

If we don't have numbers required by mid 2026, I will put out a joint calling to the BC rover landers group to get additional numbers, this should ensure we have adequate numbers.
feel free to ask any questions or offer advice to the group if you have been before and would like to share some feedback, advice or tips about this journey!

PLEASE share this around your Land Rover circle. not everyone views the forums.
