Hi everybody,

I'm thinking of planning a trip down to whipsaw with my friend michael, almost like a mini-mackenzie before we do the mackenzie next year and was seeing if there would be any interest among the group for both of us have never really been down there but it is a good 100km loop trail out in Princeton,BC looking at being gone for around a week so if anyone is interested let me know.

Total mileage is around 2100km give or take

Cheers,
Abdu

If you go here, you can see a detailed track and waypoints.  It includes some other trails, but you can just look at Whipsaw.

So taking a look at fires because I forgot those exist for some reason looks like at this time Princeton and the surrounding area are on evacuation order i may tentatively cancel the trip for now but see how fires and the like are going worse case I think the alternative idea I have is doing a camping roadtrip to Drumheller and going out to ghost after

Interested and watching closely as this comes together.  I might be able to join in at the tail end, August 28 to 30. Coming from Calgary.  Have tent will travel!

Is there any plans on this happening next year?

If the area is accessible I'm sure there would be someone interest in doing the trail again.  We just need someone willing to organise the event and set a date ;-)
