I found this series of videos that I found very interesting, not least of all informative.    They compare 4 different brands of 4 wheel drives, including live axle vs independent, locking center diff vs non locking, Brake assist traction control vs lockers, braking systems and a bunch of other stuff.  But it's a show well worth watching for newer tech and a some old traditional....

That was a really great video, im always impressed by the LR3s traction system coupled with a rear locker. That LC300 traction system is great, but that KDSS system to disconnect the sway bars when offroading gives that independent front end some incredible flex.
Nissan needs some work to get that Patrol back to it's heritage 😅
