Just recently purchased a 71' series 2a 109, I'm having a hard time finding someone who can do an engine rebuilt in edmonton and chassis work.

That's an easy one......Call the "sports car centre"at 780 430-8174.   Ask for Bert or Dave.   They are doing a full restore on a S11a artillery land rover, with new chassis and fully rebuilt engine.   It won't be cheap but it will be done right!
