Hello;
David from the eastcoast here. (109 2.6 stationwagon)

Does anyone know the details on a 109 currently being auctioned?

See link. Says 74 but sure looks to be a late 2a. 24v?

Chassis number says it is a 1971 build 2A.

It is not surprising that they have the year wrong in the ad.

No telling condition of the running gear. No key. No battery. No soft top. Water likey has migrated. Looks to be in fair shape otherwise.

It looks like it sold for $3500. As it wasn't running or registerable, it's hard to see that value in it. David from the east coast brought this to us. If he is in the east coast, it might be cheaper to find the same wreck somewhere else in the world, cut the (rotted?) chassis, and load into seacan and ship to an eastern port? You'd replace with a new or used chassis anyway on this side for that project.

Against your big intermodal rail freight bill from Alberta, that might be your cheaper option. Sorry if you won bid here.

Did not win. Shipping quotes ranged from $3500-$5200.
Series rovers have mostly left the province here.

wonder if someone bought it as  a project or if it will pop up for sale at 3 times the price.

3500  plus the RB fees and taxes, looks like even old series trucks are heading up in value.
