Hi!  Happy Holidays to Everyone!

I've been much too busy with other things, but in putting it all together I forgot to put the cover on the tunnel for the 4WD selector.  I managed to get that "wonderful" one-piece floor mat up on one side only, but with very little room to muck-around, and as far as I can tell, the only way that spring goes in is on top of the plate and up against the selector knob.  Is this correct?  Because I don't think I can compress the spring enough.  Just in case I am missing something, I thought I would ask - I can find no diagram which says for sure.

Got-it.  Someone on Guns and Rovers asked if I had it in Low Range, as the 4wd selector only goes UP in low.   I did have it in low, but sho-nuff, when I gave it a stiff yank, up it came another inch or so, and there is lots of room for the spring now. 

It always pays to ask when 1+1 does not seem to equal 2

Nice work! Sometime you just need to take a hammer to it to persuade it to do what you want ;)
