Just watched this video and feel like I should be considering some sort of rollover protection for the RRC.

Nasty roll over!

Completely preventable too. A winch out front, a guy there ready to string it out for you, they know the vehicle is entirely unstable, yet the driver does not instruct the vehicle to be secured via the winch before doing anything else?

This videos really is a great example of why maintaining control and knowing the limits of your vehicle is so important. A front/rear locker and that roll over is likely avoided...he can take a less agressive climb speed, doesn't start hoping, lose traction and forward momentum, and ultimatley control.

Cage's are good to have, but this one is all on that driver.

Yes.  Driving much too aggressively.  And as soon as you start going sideways, stop and assess.  We had one guy jump sideways on the trip in August.  Had him stop and hold immediately and winch over the obstacle to be safe.  Going backwards once you are sideways is a recipe for a roll and what happened in this video.

Ouch!

Don't think I'd be asking the guy in the red shirt for a spot anytime ever.
After giving the driver dumb ass instructions and failing to relay the situation on the ground  adequately, when the Rangie rolls away he just stands there, calmly retrieved his camera and walks down to the wreak slowly to get in on film!
