I'm looking to get a 12v compressor to toss in the truck for camping/fishing ( ya never know ) and figured i would see what everyone else is using, I want to get one that is good quality, last for a few years and not cost a small fortune.
Thanks, Tom

I bought one of these from Canadian Tire.  works great and comes with a case.

I use this one https://www.britpart.com/all-parts/da2392 It runs about $110 or so and I've had it about 10 years or so now.   I've cooked two fuses on it but it still runs and pumps up my tires after airing down.   The case worked okay for about 3 years but the plastic got beaten up a bit with the off road use and not being secured properly (pilot error).   So I'm going to knock up a plywood case with the base integrated with the bottom of the pump.

But I've not complaints.

Red90 has a built in system using an old A/C compressor that is GREAT!!!!!   But it's only as portable as the truck is.   Still...He's the most popular guy on the trail when it's time to air up again ;)
Cheers, Bill

Thanks for the input gents, much appreciated
I have read quite a few reviews on the Motomaster and a lot of folks say they break pretty easy, although some people are harder on equipment than others ( I'm probably the former  ::) ),
the Britpart looks good, lots of air but can it be sourced locally,
the Dewalt looks good as well, can get it local and runs on 20v batteries, 12v, and 110, a bonus,
I did however also run into this one https://www.amazon.ca/Viair-00088-88P-Portable-Compressor/dp/B005ASY23I/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 which looks pretty good too,
now I guess it's decision time  :-\

It depends on what you're trying to do. Is this for airing up/airing down tires, or for inflating an emergency flat. There's lots of product/feature gap between a small Milwaukee M12 cordless inflator and a massive Miller 200 Bobcat AirPak. 28CFM on the mighty Miller :)
