Distributor help needed

I have finally got things back together after rebuilding the steering, adjusting the valve clearances, cleaning up and painting the manifolds and valve cover, and re-plumbing the heater. A couple of new brake cylinders as well. Lastly I installed an electronic ignition. The truck turns over but won't fire. Is there anyone on the list in Calgary that has time to drop by and help me sort this.

What is the blue wire with spade connector that appears to come from the coil and sits above the distributor?

Two wires, red and black, come off the electronic ignition and attach to the coil. The blue one coming off the coil was just a temporary way of making that connection until I can make up a correct length wire in black.
