Please remove - wiring a fuel solenoid/cutoff

Hi there

I am wiring a rebuilt 2.5 l diesel. It has a electrical fuel cut off/solenoid vs the cable cut off the 2.25 l diesel had. I am wondering what switched circuit is best to wire the solenoid into? The vehicle is a 1980 2a/Santana. Don worry; Santana is Spanish for 'mostly the same except for diesel soaked sand'.
