Truly a car for all reasons!
The blue unit in the film was restored some years ago and I believe it's now in the Dunsfold collection.
And if I'm not mistaken Dunsfold is having their next biennial open weekend to view the collection in sometime in June 2017. And thanks to Matt I now have plans to make that show ;-) I wonder if they allow extended test drives.....? ::)
The Land Rover Experience at Eastnor Castle in the UK has a "Heritage Fleet" that you can drive on the famous jungle track. This includes a Series 1 80", a Series 2A 88", a Series 3 109" SW an early two door Range Rover and a 101.
Lots of toys to play with.
Not Eastnor anymore, my mistake. They have it here now.
