Title: 2.5 petrol manifolds
Post by: Already a Rover on November 01, 2015, 01:08 PM
Hi - does anyone have an intake - or especially exhaust-manifold from a 2.5 petrol they can part with?  I'm asking because I have read they will give you a bit better flow.  Engine rebuild in progress.

2.5 petrol engines are quite rare.  Most trucks around here are ex-BATUS, so have diesels or are newer imports with stock TDIs.

I seriously doubt the manifolds are causing any power restriction....

Hi.  I was surprised to see ACR marketing a header for 2.25s, but I guess it is all about flow.  It is just a matter of degrees.  High rpm maybe, but I should hardly think they would sell many (especially at 337 pounds each).  I'm not too fussed, but read of someone who used them on a 2.25, so thought I would ask.
