Title: Defender TD5 Warning Light LED replacement?
Post by: spartree on January 28, 2023, 12:41 PM
Does anyone know if the LEDs on a TD5 warning light panel can be replaced? I've noticed that my Traction Control and Fuel Filter lights do not do their illumination check when turning the ignition on. The TC system is working normally as I hear the spring/boing type sound when it's active, but yeah the light isn't coming on.

It would not be simple.  They are surface mount LEDs.

It is unlikely that the lights are burnt out.  It is more likely a wiring issue.  I would check that first by powering the lights with the panel out.  Also look for burnt components.
