I was thinking this could be made into a new section on the forum but I had a note from Andy out in BC telling me about an alternate North Amercian source for UJ's for his Td5 110 CSW:
"obtained most of my info from this page: https://www.tr-register.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/76169-tr6-uj-equivalent-part-numbers/ (https://www.tr-register.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/76169-tr6-uj-equivalent-part-numbers/)
At Lordco, I ordered the Hardy Spicer HS195 number and they found me the equivalent in ACDelco.
Something good to know if you are in a pinch ;)
Thanks for the Tip Andy
The OVLR (Ottawa Valley Land Rovers club) use to have a great section on alternate parts for our landy's but it seems their site as gone www.ovlr.org...not sure what's happened but I'll try and find out. I hope they are still about....they are a good group of eggs there ;-)
Hey Bill,
OVLR is still around - I think mostly on their Facebook page now. They've posted parts manuals and other documents you can download.
If you do open up a forum section for parts, I've got a list of vendors that I've been able to source LOTS of Series stuff from.
Thanks,
Mike
