Pending whatever phase of reopening we're on, it looks like there's some car shows being planned for this summer.
I've seen one for early June in Calgary, and it looks like the All British Field meet is set for June 12th, with registration opening in March. It'd be nice to get out again!!

Looks like the city has approved the field meet!
They're waiting on details regarding the registration, but the event itself is approved.
The usual spot, September 11th, from 11:00am - 3:00pm. :D
We are planning to make the trip up from Calgary in our '98 Defender 110. Will there be a group of you there?

I've never been to this event before. Is it for fully restored and shiny vehicles only? Ours is beginning to be built out for adventure travel and not exactly "show-ready" but would be happy to head up and meet a few of you!
Land Rovers don't do much "shiney and pretty".... My 110 wears it's war wounds with pride as well as the pine striping ;D
Besides, if you have a camping rig (roof top tent, offroad trailer, etc) bring it along and set it up as a display!
Well heck, if bruises and pinstripes are permitted, we will fit right in! We hope to see/meet a few of you up there. We will be registering.

I'll be there with the 90 if I get the rebuild finished, if not I'll take the Healey, and J will take his D1
Dave and Pamela Blair plan on being there with the overlanding home on wheels. Not sure if the trailer will be in tow or not, but it will be a nice unit to see. ;)

My dad is in town for a visit, so he might tag along. We'd probably be down for breakfast.

Parking for anyone with a trailer at Alberts on 124 won't be very good.
Saratoga has lots of space and they are just off the Henday....... ???
Saratoga works for me. Vehicle parking starts at 9 am- 11 am. down at the park. How is 8 am for breakfast?

David B. has a point there. We don't all have to be there at 9am. But it may be a good idea to get to the Saratoga for 8am just to beat the Saturday crowds ;-) Whom ever makes it down to the Victoria park oval first try and snafu the SW corner in the trees.....best spot there for shelter from sun and weather ;D
Saratoga is a bit far for me, but I'm aiming to be at the park around 9am. I'll snag the usual spot on the southwest side.

Well, I haven't seen any changes to the time so Dave, Pam and I are heading to the Saratoga for 8am then.

We are heading up from Calgary in our Defender 110 this morning - wave when you pass us. We plan to arrive at Victoria Park at or around 10am.
