Title: Wanted timing pointer and dipstick tube for 2.25

Hi, Hope you  are keeping virus free. 

i am looking for a timing pointer for a 2.25  for the front pulley ( picture below)...


And an oil dipstick tube that fits into a union type connector and not directly into the block. (picture below)

I think you could use the dipstick tube etc... from a 2.5na diesel. If so I believe I have a couple here.

Thanks for your reply.  IIRC, the 2.5's and the later 2.25's are designed for the ferrule to be inside the hole in the block.  My older style has different threads in the block for the union and the ferrule sits in the union.  If that makes sense :-)

If I can't find the old style,  I might have to machine up an adapter.
