Post by: brendan leier on September 25, 2019, 07:34 PM
Friends,

I'm about to install a boost gauge in my disco and thought it might me wise to ask my wizened elders to predict how I might f*ck it up and how said circumstance might indeed be avoided?  best regards and thanks in advance, Brendan

I think most people still and tap the intake manifold in the open area just past where the hose joins on. This lets you have access to clean out the inside of anything from the drilling and tapping. Use a section of metal tubing before switching to plastic as the manifold gets hot.

I just realized I'm thinking Defender. There should be lots of options on a Disco as the manifold is fully exposed.
