Title: Reacting to car accidents
Post by: B-Red on November 28, 2015, 06:07 AM
I had the unfortunate task of having to drive my car to the mall on Friday afternoon on Black Friday. The area was a grid lock. Anywho, turning right towards the parking area, a pedestrian crosses in front of me. I stopped offcourse. About 30sec later, I get a bump on the back and it sounded loud.

I have to admit. It took me a whole minute to realize that I have to get out and check the damages. My initial thought was, we are offroading. Haha. I have steel bumper. Haha.
Then, oh no sh&$. It's the Lincon. All plastic and electronics.

Checking out the damages, my car had a paint scratch. The other fellow had a deep gush in his right wing. Two inch deep. So, a trip to the shop is due to assess my potential behind the plastics damage.

Offroading surely altered my perception of accidents. I sure miss my steel bumpers.

Insurance estimate came to $2,700 dollars. Good thing that we do not claim the paint scratches on our trucks after offroading
