Title: Radio holder
Post by: Chris on May 12, 2026, 03:49 PM
My cousin has 3D printed these radio holders, seems to fit any beofeng nicely, but I am sure it'll fit most handhelds. If you would like one let me know and I can bring some to the next dinner meet in Edmonton for June!
They are 5$ each to make them. Let me know!

Great idea. I'd like to have the radio secured somewhere. Not sure if the visor on the old Defender could handle the jostling around tho. Would this work on the lip of the lower dash. It would appear to be about the same width - 24mm(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20260530/8a5db3ea394705b9f5769c2864a9d598.jpg)

Itll probably go over it, how deep is it? If its shallow I dont think it would hold if its only half on it?
I'll bring them to the next gathering and try it on someone's defender

The tray is a good three and a half inches at the deepest part. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20260606/c93c55ec6eb0605f04eeabb2c781e245.jpg)
