Title: Ashcroft kits
Post by: dev.land.rover on May 20, 2024, 03:45 PM
I know there are a few people running Ashcroft kits in their Series transmissions.

Were there any major issues installing it? Does the kit improve your driving experience?

Thanks
David

Which kit are you talking about????

The two wheel drive conversion kit I got was okay, but knowing then what I know now I would have gone straight to the R380 and the 200tdi.  Live and learn ;-)

But ashcroft sells good products....

Funny enough, I have been doing a bunch of research on this. I'm thinking about purchasing a kit. Comes out to about 550-600 cad landed. The only draw back is you can't add an overdrive later on but I think it should help with my revs on the highway. Maybe make first and second gear a little more usable. I am also interested in if any one has any real world experience
