2004 Range Rover engine starts the car won't move?
Your thoughts on a possible fix

Is this a unit you already own? Or is it one you're looking to buy with that defect? It will be an automatic transmission, I have no experience there. If you're lucky, it's low on ATF and won't shift?

Gonna need more information...

Could be the shifter, shifter cable, interlock solenoid, transmission fluid, pump, valve body, bands, ecu/sensors plus a bunch more things I can't think of off the top of my head. The list is pretty long and more than just one thing could be wrong.
