I stopped in at NAPA today for some parts, including another can of POR-15. I noticed they have a competitive product, made in Canada, called DOM-16, for about half the price.
I looked at their website, and while they had several materials handling datasheets, I didn't see much of an individual spec sheet of any standards or any direct comparison to POR.
It would be worthwhile to make the switch. POR has worked well, but is expensive. I usually don't use up the can before it hardens. I've never had any adhesion problems with POR, as I always use it on sandblasted steel.
Has anyone tried the DOM product?
