Title: It's alive, IT'S ALIVE
Post by: binch on April 21, 2018, 04:46 PM
Everyone with a land rover knows that lifting the bonnet of a land rover works WAYYYYY better the any Bat signal!!!!   So we Chris lifted the bonnet of his RRC they came from miles.   Today, with Dave, Colin, Chris, Lloyd, Norman, Jonathon and myself we heard the roar of the Rover V8 in it's new home....an RRC ;)    It's by no means done but the motivation that big roar gives....

Chris also has the RRC LWB up on a 1.5" lift and 235x85 R16 duratracs and looks just right!    I'm looking forward to what more we get done tomorrow....

As it is I had to leave the guys behind, so they are still hard at it and I'm sure great progress will be made.

Chris has also been searching far and wide for seats. Problem solved.

Awesome to see this unit running. I almost scrapped it a while ago but it is still straight and rust free so I could never quite bring myself to do it.

Looks like I need to get those old disco manual seats up to you guys soon though?
