Title: Wheel adapters for '98 Defender 90
Post by: dell-man on November 27, 2017, 01:58 PM
Hello, I'm looking at a set of rims that have the following spec's, and am wondering if anyone has any experience with wheel adapters for this kind of thing, and if there would be any issues with fitting these wheels due to size or offset, etc.?  I know the existing bolt pattern & spacing is: 5x165.1, and the wheel adapters I need would be 5x150.

Here's the information of the rims I'm interested in

- Bolt Pattern: 150mm
- Offset: 60mm
- Size: 18" x 8"
- Diameter: 18"
- Width: 8"
- Lugs: 5

Any input/advice/feedback is appreciated.

That is a lot of offset.  Even with the spacer/adapters, I would be worried with clearance.  Typical aftermarket 8" rims run around 10 mm offset.

For spacers, you can try these guys. I have a set of there's on my D2...

For offset rims, check OK Offroad, but afaik they only make a 16" rim.
