Title: oh now that was a good thanksgiving feast!!!!
Post by: binch on October 09, 2017, 08:15 PM
What a great weekend!   Lots of great eats and visiting with friends ;D

1/2 a roast turkey soaked in a brine for a couple of days....oh so tender and juicy!    Brussell sprouts cooked with bacon (pork fat rules!!!).   Home made stuffing and Cranberry sauce, spuds and asparagus all chased with a lovely pumpkin pie strait out of the oven...mmmmmmmmmmm

I guess I'll be ordering some heavy duty springs for the drives side of the defender LOL

Sounds tasty Bill. Got my fill of turkey, brussel sprouts and mashed spuds too! Thanksgiving, a wonderful time, all about gluttony and excess!

I was out hunting a few weeks back and bagged a bunch of Canada geese. So we took advantage of the "cook until you explode" mindset this weekend and BBQ'd up some goose (soaked in a teriyaki marinade), bacon and pineapple kabobs on Saturday. Most yummy!

Twas a good feed this weekend.
