Title: defender steering wheels and matching columns
Post by: ugly_90 on August 28, 2016, 05:57 PM
A bit tricky here as I progress on my 110 restoration. There are several combinations of wheels and columns, and they don't always go together. There isn't an easy breakdown in the parts book or Microcat that i've seen. I have come across this website that decodes it.

In my case, it's " Type B " (QTB502130) steering wheel with a matching 48-spline column, in this case NTC9068 which covers my range of VIN.

Maybe a handy reference for others:

You can also use the early RRC steering wheels, with the nice leather covered wheel on the earlier defenders?130/110/90.    Good view of the instrument panel  8)
