Go to youtube and do a search on  " AE4x4 - Mayhem "  if you want to see some winch challenge work.   This site has some incredible terrain to work on and from the top you can see the sea off Scotland.   But you will see some incredible winch technique, near vertical rock cliffs of 20', close quarter maneuvering, etc.

I was there in 2014 and of the 20 vehicles that started on Saturday, there were maybe 12 left to compete again on Sunday.

I'll miss it in 2017 by a week but I'll be there for the Dunsfold open weekend in Gaydon, this time around ;-)

That's all well and good Bill, but i can't drive my rigs to Scotland!  ;D

(that is a pretty cool event you mentioned though. I tracked down a few videos of it. Some serious winching those boys do).

The upgrades the challenge guys do to their winches are very impressive.
