Title: Calgary European Car Meet
Post by: RossM on July 22, 2016, 10:28 PM
Short notice for the European Car meet tomorrow at Stanley Park 10:00 - 4:00. Last year several Land Rovers showed up. I'll be there with my 109.

We were the only Land rover to show up this year to the static Vsccc show. My 16 year old daughter manhandled with eloquence the vagaries of the old Landy that was, up until the morning of the show, covered in mud and filled with old carpets, drywall and broken wood ready for a trip to the dump. We quickly unloaded the crap and gave it a hose inside and out and wiped the wheels with the black magic wheel stuff. Our other green car in the picture had two full days of tlc with a clay bar, wax and polish, taking each wire wheel off and cleaning each spoke, detailing everything I could. It has never looked this good. Now which car do you suppose garnered the most attention? Ok I am preaching to the converted here so obviously it wasn’t the Austin Healey.

Cheers
Ross

A 109" SW is a special kind of vehicle and one of my all time favourite Land Rovers.
