Title: Which carburetor Weber or Zenith for series 2a

Gents I have a 62 series 2a  88 my current carb is a solex but the non return valve on the body got stripped?? So basically it's kaput  , so my choices are Weber or zenith to replace it any advice would greatly be appreciated

Zenith, much better than the weber.

If you go for the Zenith 36IV, I have one.  Well 2 actually, but one looks well worn.  The other appears to be new in the box.  I do not know the history of either as they came in a box of miscellaneous  LR parts.
