I saw these featured in a Land Rover mag a few months back. Interesting idea to be sure.
Changes what would would have been ordinarily a scrapped Disco1 with a rusty body to a useful 4wd small commercial unit.

Especially relevant now that Defenders have become too valuable to use up on the farm or construction site.
No Road Except For Land-Rover.

What safety testing would be required on a rebodied disco like this??? :o

I believe the safety testing would primarily be making sure the insurance company doesn't find out what you did and generally keeping quiet ;)

No crumple zones, other than your body but I don't think that is a big change from a regular rover.

Apparently the manufacturers were aiming to market it under the same rules as a kit car. The UK has thousands of Lotus 7, AC Cobra and other kit cars are already roaming around under these regulations.
When all is said and done, nothing on the road today is as dangerous as a motorcycle.
So as far as m concerned until bikes get banned it's all fair game under the "you made your bed, lie in it" law of the jungle.
