Might be getting a job offer with Teck out in Hinton. What is Hinton like?

Like any other town in Alberta.   Generally warmer then Edmonton in the winter by up to 10C.    When the wind dies down you smell the pulp mill but it's not so bad after a while.   Great access to the mountains and foothills both north and south.   Old part of town, down in the valley not too bad.   Economy swings with the coal mines, but they have quiet a bit of big town stuff to offer.   Seen much worse and a couple better.

I have some good contacts in that town if you need assistance in lodging. Has big department stores and a good hospital. Much more fun than Yellowknife for sure.

Hinton was much nicer than Yellowknife! Waiting to see if I get the job.
