Looking for a windshield for my defender also is it cheaper to cut or buy one?

Buying glass from a glass place is like bartering in the 3rd world.....  The actual glass costs them nothing.  What you pay depends on your purchasing skills and how much you look around.

They are super cheap in the UK.  The problem is shipping.  Bill has brought many in during past container shipments, but they go fast.

I have one cut and installed by crystal auto glass in bowness for about $200 about 16 years ago. They did a good job.

Well fancy you should be speaking about defender windscreens.    I have "a couple" in the shop I brought in on spec, knowing full well someone would need one eventually.   Send me an email for details ;-)
