Title: Defender 130 build
Post by: Vwrob on November 12, 2016, 11:04 PM
I'm super new at all this.  I'm trying to build a 130 hi cap.  Here's what I've noticed I need so far.

Rubber shock inner fender hole covers
B pillar plastic trim where the seat belt comes out
All seatbelts
Lower back window window interior trim
Sun visors
Front plastic grille
Frame tow points
Interior windshield plastic trim
Front and rear door seals
Stock door hinges (I dislike the new britpart ones I bought)
Front sills
Rear 130 Sills
Coolant tank
Window washer tank
Snorkel
Fenders or just the tops. (Mine are dented from stepping on them)

Wish list:
Sunroof I can graft in
Skylights I can graft in
Nicer wheels
Tow hitch
ARB front bumper

Rob, welcome to the club.

It seems like most of your needed parts are trim related, and minus the seat belts, may not be essential to move your build ahead.

There are a few guys here on the forum, and a few wreckers yards nearby, that are parting out Discovery 1's, perhaps a few of your parts could come from there.

Alternatively, a foreign wrecked and or rusted 130 organ donor may provide many of the parts you're after.
