What tires are you guys using to fit the original 750x16 size rims?
My current tires are Generals I think? The truck is at the shop so I can't check on them. They are just light truck tires that have been on the truck for 20 years. Time for a change I'd say.
The Deestone D503 look the part but I don't know what they would drive like or where one could get them locally.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Ross
Most people use 235/85R16 size. It is a bit wider and the same diameter and available in a lot of models.
What are you wanting as far as capability?
That's the closest to stock from my Defender and what I use. I'm using a Michelin LT ice radial on it when I'm not taking it off road. I don't know what tyre they're using on the new defenders but it's a nice looking AT model...but my view may have been spoiled when I was driving in it drooling on the seats :-)
