Title: Tuk is open to road traffic

I have just finished reading an article on Tuk...

   "By mid November, a 137-kilometre all-season road will permanently connect Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk".

Sounds like another excursion may be required  8)    It would be the furthest I've been up north by road.   So far I've only made it up to Colville Lake on the MacKenzie Ice road.

Use to be car manufacturers would winter test vehicles by driving to Inuvik and as a spur of the moment thing, drive to Tuk because the winter road was open.  Won't be such a big deal now that there is an all season road.  Anyone driving up from southern Alberta (or Saskatchewan), will feel right at home as trees disappear once past Inuvik.

i plan on being in Tuk for the summer solctice in 2018, that will be the maiden voyage with the LS swap.
