Title: Compression Numbers

Just did a compression test in my 2002 Disco. Starting with passengers side, front to back here's my numbers. Opinions...

2-130
3-150
4-150
5-130

Looks okay.  Maybe a bit more variation than desirable, but it can depend on how careful you are doing the tests.  You want to be hot with the throttle wide open.  Crank enough to make sure you get a proper peak number.  Try a few times to make sure.  You should do the test, then squirt some oil into the cylinder and get a wet reading.

It's all back together now. Maybe I'll do it again on next days off. I agree with the variation but I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised that they are what they are. I was quite pessimistic going in to it
